Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association (WHVA) WHVA works to preserve and promote the unique cultural and historic heritage, retail, dining and lodging offerings of the town of Washington and all of Rappahannock County. Among other annual events, the group sponsors a day-long Christmas celebration featuring a parade, Santa, an artisan’s market, music and magic the first Sunday in December. Woodville Community Organization The group was established in 1998 to facilitate the Woodville Bicentennial Celebration. The informal organization exists today to foster and enhance the sense of community in Woodville through general maintenance of the town signs and road sides, and a free annual picnic each September.
